Gus Hansen is my all time favorite Poker Player, he is from Copenhagen, Denmark, but now resides in Monte Carlo in Monaco. He was a world class backgammon player, and also plays many other sports such as tennis and even as far as becoming a youth champion, so far, Gus has made 7.1 million US dollars in live tournaments. He has won three World Poker Tour open tournaments (the only player to do that), in Sep 2006 he won The London All Star Challenge on the European Poker Masters, winning £53,600, he has also won the Poker Superstars Invitational Tournament taking home a cool $1,000,000 US.
His style of play amazes me, sure he can get lucky, but that is Poker right? I could only imagine what it would be like to play against Gus. He is a loose player, and plays very aggressively, he often bets with absolutely nothing! sometimes [...]
