She has placed 7th in the World Poker Tour and then 8th in the 5k short handed NL event at the 2006 WSOP. Honestly who cares though she’s smoking hot. Even sports illustrated thinks so.

Amir Vahedi was an Iranian professional poker player born in Tehran, Iran.[1]
(December. 1952 – January 8, 2010)
After owning several businesses in the U.S., Vahedi took on poker as a full-time profession, rising to prominence in 2003 when he won his first and only World Series of Poker bracelet and finished sixth in the Main Event.
Vahedi’s career tournament earnings totaled more than $3.3 million and he once famously tutored actor Ben Affleck when Affleck caught the poker bug.
Vahedi was named no limit Texas hold ‘em player of the year in 2001 and was second to Men Nguyen for Card Player Magazine’s 2003 player of the year. In 2003 he made the final table of the main event of the World Series of Poker and finished sixth, netting a $250,000 prize. Earlier in the series he won his first WSOP bracelet and $270,000 in a separate no limit Texas hold ‘em [...]

Patience, determination, psychological fortitude, and a killer instinct. These are all mandatory traits of a good poker player. But what sets apart the best from the rest? What do these players have that the majority of others don’t? Let’s take a look at whom I consider, to be the most dominating poker players of all time:
10. Sam Farha- Many may argue this entry, but Sammy Farha possesses all of the attributes listed above, and more. Farha is a fearless and relentless aggressor at the tables that always guarantees him action. Farha’s gambling style is very difficult for top poker pros to counter, due to the high risk and the difficult decisions Farha forces upon them. Sammy Farha is considered one of the top Pot Limit Omaha players in the world. You will find Farha as a regular participant of the “Big Game” spread at the Bellagio in Las Vegas. The majority of Sammy’s success comes as a cash game player, but here are some of Farha’s major tournament accomplishments: 1996 $2500 [...]

There’s also a possible problem raised by Mrs. Hewlie. She’s this crotchety lady who fancies herself as a real estate broker and is trying to sell an old gold mine next to Mr. Crump’s property. I overheard her telling this to my dad in the kitchen while I was trying to ignore her, but I wondered what the implications would be for Mr. Crump. I can’t imagine having a working gold mine next door would improve the environment for raising miniature pigs. And I wonder if my dad will even mention it to Mr. Crump.
My dad is a poker player and he holds his cards close to his chest. That describes the way he approaches just about everything. He always seems to have a secret plan of one sort or another and a hidden agenda he’s playing out. I don’t mean to sound so critical of him, but I watch [...]

In my last update about my bankroll I had went from $1.25 to almost $1000.00. I then placed 7th in the Full Tilt $5 buy in cash out tournament for about $400.00 Ive gained some and lost some and overall in good shape still not where I want to be but grinding it out can be fun too!
This month I will be trying to refocus on my affiliate work and have dropped a few and will focus on Full Tilt, Bodog and Pokerstars, Cake and Doyles room. WordPress wont allow me post my [...]

Short story stands as follows”
Luke ‘FullFlush’ Schwartz, at the High-Roller event at EPT London is ordering a sandwich.
Eat of it but does not want to pay (cost about $ 5)
The security people are called and after a long discussion can not be persuaded to pay and is kicked out of casino.
Then, those of EPT announced that it will prohibit his participation in EPT, at least this year!
In an interview for pokernews.com it says: “There’s like 44 pages on the topic of this sandwich on the forums . There must be a billion spastic idiots sitting there so tilted by me for no reason at all. They’re there writing about me all day, it’s hilarious.”
“All the fucking swings in poker, the beats, the coolers, they build up after a while. So I was frustrated, yeah, but it’s still not a crime. It’s a fucking sandwich. I’d just paid like £30,000 to [...]
